Our Solution: Managing Charts

Pulling a chart can be done with one click of the mouse. Once you’ve located the chart you’re looking for, just hit the “Pull” button and it will be added to your pulled charts.

The “Pulled Charts” box is home to a list of patients that will be visiting your office on a particular day. It is a digital equivalent to a pile of paper charts. Fortunately, however, the digital chart pile is available to all workstations simultaneously.

Every physician is given a “Chart Bin” that is accessible throughout the office. This allows the view his or her own electronic pile of charts for the day; they can be pulled days, weeks, or months in advance. Patients can be placed in multiple chart bins and can be moved between them with a few simple clicks.

When a chart is ready to be put back, perhaps because a patient has cancelled an appointment, simply select the chart and click the “Put Back” button. Just like that, the chart is back in “storage.”
