• User Privileging:
  The “Drawers” feature allows you to grant specific privileges to individual users for each “drawer.” For example, a nurse or technician may have access to the clinical portion(s) of a chart while the billing personnel have access to the financial information. This makes it easy to precisely manage the availability of information so that only the people you want have access to any given piece of information.
• Recycle Bin:
  To make sure information is not accidentally (or maliciously) deleted, a “Recycle Bin” is used to store discarded documents. When an item is deleted, it is actually moved to the recycle bin so that it can be restored at a later date. This allows you to clear charts of clutter while still retaining access to a document should the need arise.
• Messaging:
  The messaging system allows your staff to send each other information about their patients quickly and easily. Messages can be either patient-specific or not, and can include an attached document. Intra-office communication has never been easier or more efficient.
• Prescription Writing:
  Writing prescriptions can be a big hassle. Thankfully, our solution makes the whole process easier. From a patient’s chart, simply click on the “Rx” tab and choose from a custom list of up to 2,000 prescribed drugs. We don’t have every drug in the PDR, but we do let you pick and choose which ones to list, so you don’t waste time scrolling through hundreds of drugs you’ll never prescribe. The prescription writer automatically knows the instructions, dispense amount, and refill amount for each drug. When you’re finished, click the “View” button and you can call-in, fax, or print the order. We even include pharmacy names, faxes, and phone numbers for your convenience. And best of all, the entire prescription is stored electronically so you always have a complete log of your patients’ prescriptions.
• Lab Interface:
  Hate waiting by the fax machine for your lab results? With our solution, you can process raw HL-7 and ASTM test result data from the lab and convert it into an organized, readable HTML file. Better yet, this file is then automatically imported into each patient’s chart for fast reference by the doctor or staff.
• Barcoding:
  Our solution automates scanning and indexing of documents generated and received by the office each day. Bar-coded papers can be automatically filed and charts no longer need to be pulled and filed away. Once the active patient charts are scanned into SRS, the office will be on “autopilot”. The two kinds of documents that are filed automatically are (a) paper generated during each patient vvisit such as superbills, health history sheet, registration sheet, signed Medicare waiver form, signed HIPAA policy disclosure form, etc.; and (b) paper received from outside sources such as lab results. This makes it easier than ever for your employees to quickly and efficiently process the huge amounts of information that passes through your office each day.
